Faith Christian extended their winning streak to six on Monday, bumping them up to 8-2. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 69-35 win over the Coram Deo Academy Warriors. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 27 points or more this season.

Faith Christian was led to victory by Carson Bivins and Logan Baker. Bivins shot 47% from the field to rack up 19 points along with seven boards and five steals, while Baker dropped a double-double with 21 points and ten rebounds. That's the most points Baker has posted since back in December of 2024. Vander Bodzioch also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Faith Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.4 offensive boards per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 15.8.

Having lost for the first time this season, Coram Deo Academy fell to 4-1. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Coram Deo Academy lost, don't look at Kasen Echols. Despite the final result, he went 8-for-13 on his way to 20 points. Thanks to that strong game, Echols now owns an excellent 46.9% shooting accuracy. Brecken Millage was another key player, putting up eight points and five rebounds.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Faith Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Quad Cities Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Coram Deo Academy, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll square off against Varsity Opponent at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
