Football Game Preview: O'Dea Fighting Irish vs. Mount Tahoma T-Birds + How To Watch

The O'Dea Fighting Irish will face off against the Mount Tahoma T-Birds at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with O'Dea sitting on 12 straight victories and Mount Tahoma on 13.

O'Dea is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They managed a 20-14 win over Bellevue.

Meanwhile, Mount Tahoma faced Eastside Catholic in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The T-Birds strolled past the Crusaders with points to spare, taking the game 21-6.

Mount Tahoma didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Shan Jones. Mount Tahoma got some further help from Teaven Jones: he picked up three sacks and made six total tackles (5.0 for loss).

O'Dea's victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Mount Tahoma, their win bumped their record up to 13-0.

O'Dea took their victory against Mount Tahoma in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 42-21 score. In that matchup, the Fighting Irish amassed a halftime lead of 28-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
