Soccer Recap: Meade vs. Crofton
Meade was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 5-0 to Crofton. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland soccer rankings (they are ranked 111th, while the are ranked 28th).
Meade's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Crofton, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1-1.
Meade will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Annapolis at 7:00 p.m. on October 7th. As for Crofton, they will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Glen Burnie. Glen Burnie's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
