Marian entered their tilt with Burke on Monday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Taylor McLeay paced Marian's offense, picking up ten kills. McLeay got some help from Addy Janke and her 12 assists. Janke was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Despite the defeat, Burke had strong showings from Lilianna Summerfield, who had 11 assists and six digs, and Ana Gigitashvili, who had seven digs.

Marian's win bumped their record up to 26-7. As for Burke, their loss dropped their record down to 10-20.

Marian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Millard West on the 20th. As for Burke, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Bellevue West on the 21st.
