            Basketball Recap: Utah School for the Deaf & Blind Eagles vs. Phoenix Day School for the Deaf Roadrunners        
        
		
        
        
            Utah School for the Deaf & Blind was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight  defeat  dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a   44-17 loss at the hands of the Phoenix Day School for the Deaf Roadrunners. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing  41-23 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.
 Phoenix Day School for the Deaf found their leader in sophomore  Donovan Etheridge, who  dropped  a double-double on 12 points and ten  rebounds.  Joseph Trent was another key player,  putting up seven  points and eight  boards.
Utah School for the Deaf & Blind's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Phoenix Day School for the Deaf, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-14.
 Coincidentally,  the two teams will both be playing Washington School for the Deaf the next time they take the court. Phoenix Day School for the Deaf will head out to face Washington School for the Deaf at 8:00  a.m.  on Saturday, while Utah School for the Deaf & Blind will play them later in the day, at 6:45  p.m.
