Volleyball Recap: Arundel Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Broadneck + How To Watch

Arundel faced Broadneck in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Bruins by a score of 3-2. That makes it the first time this season the Wildcats have let down their home crowd.

Arundel took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-10, 22-25, 25-20, 16-14.

Arundel's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Broadneck, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. After both having extra time off, Arundel and Severna Park will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Broadneck, they will square off against Calvert at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
