Greenhill came out on top against Hockaday on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run first inning. The Hornets put the hurt on the Daisies with a sharp 10-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Daisies: they've now won three in a row.
Sammie Engberg was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched.
