Baseball Recap: Poughkeepsie Takes a Loss

Poughkeepsie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 20-10 to the East Ramapo [Ramapo/Spring Valley] Titans. That's two games in a row now that the Pioneers have lost by exactly ten runs.

Poughkeepsie's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for East Ramapo [Ramapo/Spring Valley], they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Poughkeepsie will head out to take on Roosevelt at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Ramapo [Ramapo/Spring Valley], they will venture away from home to face off against Lincoln at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
