Soccer Recap: Tuscaloosa County Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Tuscaloosa County took on Prattville on Friday. The Wildcats lost 6-0 to the Lions. While losing is never fun, Tuscaloosa County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 98th, while Prattville are ranked third).

Tuscaloosa County has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6-2 record this season. As for Prattville, they pushed their record up to 14-2-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Tuscaloosa County will head out on the road to challenge Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Prattville, they will welcome Thompson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Thompson will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Prattville surely won't give up without a fight.
