Southside Christian waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They had just enough and edged the Spartanburg Christian Academy Warriors out 54-52. The Sabres' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Southside Christian's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Spartanburg Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Southside Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Woodruff at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Woodruff is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.2 points per game this season. As for Spartanburg Christian Academy, they will be home for the holidays to greet Greer Middle College at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
