Softball Recap: Pieper Takes a Loss

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Pieper was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Alamo Heights Mules. The Warriors just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Pieper's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Alamo Heights, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-14.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pieper will face off against rival Boerne at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Alamo Heights is set to take on their familiar foe New Braunfels at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
