Basketball Recap: Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy Takes a Loss

On Tuesday, the Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy Eagles were beaten by the Rayne Wolves 61-32. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 281st, while the Wolves are ranked 110th).

Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Rayne, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.

Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy and Comeaux will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Comeaux's defense has only allowed 29 points per game this season, so Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Rayne, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Lake Charles College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
