Basketball Recap: Brooks Comes Up Short

Brooks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were beaten by the Rogers Pirates 54-17. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-20 on December 6th.

Brooks' defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Rogers, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6.

Brooks will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Haleyville at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Rogers and Holly Pond will round out the year against one another at at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
