Basketball Recap: Triangle Lake Comes Up Short

Triangle Lake was the 71-50 winner over Alsea when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Triangle Lake Lakers took a 64-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Alsea Wolverines. The Lakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Triangle Lake now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Alsea, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-9.

Triangle Lake will square off against Crow at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Triangle Lake knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Crow likes a good challenge. As for Alsea, they will welcome McKenzie at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
