Volleyball Recap: Northwest Cabarrus Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Northwest Cabarrus came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the South Rowan Raiders. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Trojans were not able to get on the board.

Northwest Cabarrus may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored zero points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Campbell Withers was a one-woman wrecking crew For South Rowan. as she had 21 digs and one assist. Withers is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Northwest Cabarrus' loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for South Rowan, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
