Baseball Game Preview: Perry Bluejays vs. Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs

The Perry Bluejays will head out to square off against the Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Perry is looking for their season's first win.

Perry came into this matchup off a tough nine-run loss on Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of South Hamilton by a score of 5-3 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Prairie City-Monroe's offense. They fell 3-0 to Roland-Story on Friday. Mustangs fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Norsemen since on Friday.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Prairie City-Monroe, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Perry skirted past Prairie City-Monroe 4-3 in their previous matchup back in June of 2024. Will the Bluejays repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
