Baseball Recap: Clark Montessori Comes Up Short

Clark Montessori suffered their closest defeat since March 29th on Tuesday. They fell just short of the New Richmond Lions by a score of 3-1. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clark Montessori saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Ernst, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Clark Montessori's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for New Richmond, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-7.

Looking ahead, Clark Montessori will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Bernard-Elmwood Place at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Titans will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight. As for New Richmond, they will head out to take on Goshen at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
