Carl Junction waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the St. Mary's-Colgan Panthers by a score of 57-48. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 49th in Missouri, while the Panthers are ranked 168th in Kansas), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Carl Junction has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for St. Mary's-Colgan, they dropped their record down to 5-3 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
