Soccer Recap: Broadway Comes Up Short

If Broadway was feeling good fresh off their 4-0 takedown of Fort Defiance two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Gobblers lost 9-1 to the Rocktown Raptors on Tuesday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Broadway were already down 6-1.

Broadway now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Rocktown, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Broadway is set to face off against their familiar foe Harrisonburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Rocktown will square off against rival East Rockingham at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
