Volleyball Recap: Sunnyslope Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Horizon

Sunnyslope faced Horizon in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Vikings fell just short of the Huskies by a score of 2-1. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Huskies earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Sunnyslope lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Emma Easton, who had ten digs and three aces. Another player making a difference was Lilli Schmitt, who had 19 assists and eight digs.
