Volleyball Recap: Ludlow Takes a Loss

Ludlow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Westfield Bombers. The Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bombers from their previous meeting back in June of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-7, 25-9.

Nolan Rodgers had a dynamite game For Westfield., getting 14 digs and eight aces. With that strong performance, Rodgers is now averaging an impressive 2.3 aces per game.

Ludlow's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Westfield, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ludlow is set to square off against their familiar foe Agawam at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Westfield will challenge rival Chicopee Comp at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
