Escondido Charter won the last time they faced Orange Glen and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Patriots. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

While Escondido Charter won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-19, 25-22.

Joseph Scates paced Escondido Charter's offense, picking up 13 kills. Scates got some help from Axel Campbell and his 30 assists. Campbell was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Escondido Charter's win bumped their record up to 23-11. As for Orange Glen, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-18.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Escondido Charter will welcome Coastal Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Orange Glen, they will host La Jolla Country Day at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Torreys will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Patriots surely won't give up without a fight.
