Soccer Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

Washington managed to slip by KIPP Atlanta Collegiate the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Washington Bulldogs lost 9-2 to the KIPP Atlanta Collegiate Warriors on Thursday. The loss leaves the Bulldogs still looking for their first win of the season.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for KIPP Atlanta Collegiate, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington will venture away from home to challenge South Atlanta at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Washington will be up against South Atlanta's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.86 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for KIPP Atlanta Collegiate, they will head out to take on Holy Innocents Episcopal at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
