Kerman proved they can win big on Monday (they won by three) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Sierra Pacific Golden Bears 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Kerman was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-19, 21-25, 25-16, 15-11.

Kerman found their leader in freshman Alicia Valle, who had 15 digs and three aces.

Kerman was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in ten consecutive matches.

Kerman's win bumped their record up to 24-8. As for Sierra Pacific, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.

Looking ahead, Kerman will be playing in front of their home fans against Hanford West at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sierra Pacific, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Exeter on the 16th.
