Softball Recap: Selma Gets the Win

Selma won the last time they faced Kerman and things went their way on Friday too. The Bears came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lions, sneaking past 5-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

The team relied heavily on Audrina Quintana, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Those two hits gave her a new career-high.

Selma's victory bumped their record up to 8-6-1. As for Kerman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.

Selma has already played their next contest, an 8-1 win against Tulare Union on the 12th. As for Kerman, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Reedley at 7:00 p.m. on the 22nd. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pirates have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season.
