Mount St. Dominic Academy proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over the Livingston Lancers. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Lancers: they've now won four in a row.

Mount St. Dominic Academy pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Livingston, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
