Football Recap: Murphy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Murphy fell victim to Theodore and their airtight defense on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 31-0 loss at the hands of the Bobcats. The Panthers have struggled against the Bobcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Bo Carson threw for 92 yards on six of 15 attempts. Elijah Allen was his top target, picking up 62 receiving yards.

Kendrick Able Jr. continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Theodore, rushing for 66 yards and three scores on only nine carries. That's the most rushing touchdowns Able Jr. has posted since back in August of 2024.

Murphy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Theodore, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Murphy has already played their next game, a 56-0 loss against Baldwin County on the 10th. As for Theodore, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Gulf Shores at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
