Basketball Recap: Cousino Triumphs

If Warren Woods-Tower wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Cousino, they should've done a better job of containing Nicholas Farr. The Cousino Patriots came out on top against the Warren Woods-Tower Titans by a score of 61-49 on Tuesday thanks in part to Farr, who went 9 for 16 on his way to 22 points and three steals. Those 22 points gave him a new career-high.

The victory got Cousino back to even at 1-1. As for Warren Woods-Tower, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Cousino will head out on the road to square off against Sterling Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sterling Heights has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Warren Woods-Tower, they will welcome Fraser at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
