Softball Recap: Azle Hornets vs. Granbury Pirates

Azle fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Granbury on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Granbury Pirates by a score of 12-11. If the Hornets were looking for revenge after losing 4-3 to the Pirates when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bella Tipton was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
