Basketball Recap: Chelsea Comes Up Short

Chelsea was the 60-48 winner over Hueytown when they last played one another back in January of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Chelsea Hornets took a 64-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hueytown Golden Gophers on Thursday. The Hornets just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Chelsea's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Hueytown, the win snapped their losing streak at eight games and leaves them with a 3-10 record.

Chelsea will be playing at home against Sylacauga at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hueytown, they will square off against James F. Byrnes at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. James F. Byrnes knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Hueytown likes a good challenge.
