Volleyball Recap: Streator Takes a Loss

Streator lost against Annawan on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Braves/Bravettes.

Streator's offense was headlined by Aubrey Jacobs and Alexa Barr, who picked up three kills apiece. Jacobs really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with six.

Streator has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-15-2 record this season. As for Annawan, their victory bumped their record up to 8-19-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Streator will take on East Peoria at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Annawan, they will challenge Galva at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
