St. Joseph's Prep will be up against a hot Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic team: the squad just extended their winning streak to six. The Friars/Pandas put the hurt on Roman Catholic with a sharp 7-1 victory on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Friars/Pandas, who have now won five matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Michael Klawansky spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Joey Graziani was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024. Ryan Friel was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
St. Joseph's Prep came out on top against Archbishop Carroll on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run sixth inning. The Hawks blew past the Patriots 10-1. The Hawks have beaten the Patriots the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Patriots has come to flipping the script.
Cole Kuhn tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has become a key player for St. Joseph's Prep: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-7 otherwise.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Robby Grasso, who went 3-for-5 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. He is becoming a predictor of St. Joseph's Prep's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 3-7 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Patrick Vezza, who went 2-for-5 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
St. Joseph's Prep kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Archbishop Carroll only managed two hits.
Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for St. Joseph's Prep, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.
Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic was able to grind out a solid victory over St. Joseph's Prep in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, winning 7-2. Will the Friars/Pandas repeat their success, or do the Hawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
