Basketball Recap: Pisgah Takes a Loss

Pisgah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They had to suffer through a 49-20 loss at the hands of the Richland Rangers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-34 last Tuesday.

Pisgah's loss came despite strong showings from Easton Channell and Braxton Lindsey. Channell posted six points, while Lindsey earned five points.

Pisgah's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Richland, their win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-4.

Pisgah wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 56-46 loss against Stringer on the 10th. As for Richland, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against St. Andrew's Episcopal at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th.
