Softball Recap: South Vermillion Takes a Loss

South Vermillion lost against Riverton Parke back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wildcats came up short against the Panthers, falling 12-2. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Vermillion saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cambree Stivers, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

South Vermillion now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Riverton Parke, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-3 record this season.

South Vermillion has already played their next matchup, a 4-3 win against Covington on the 22nd. As for Riverton Parke, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-1 loss against Terre Haute North Vigo on the 22nd.
