Basketball Recap: Oneonta Takes a Loss

Oneonta was the 38-29 winner over Owego Free Academy when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Oneonta Yellowjackets took a 58-44 bruising from the Owego Free Academy River Hawks on Saturday. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Oneonta's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Owego Free Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Oneonta does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Owego Free Academy, they will head out to take on Johnson City at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Johnson City is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.4 points per game this season.
