Soccer Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson entered their contest against Sunset on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Jefferson Patriots fell just short of the Sunset Bison by a score of 3-2. The Patriots were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bison earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Sunset, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Looking ahead, Jefferson will venture away from home to challenge White at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. White's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Jefferson's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Sunset, they will take on Molina at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
