Softball Game Preview: Spencerport Rangers vs. Eastridge Lancers

The Spencerport Rangers will face off against the Eastridge Lancers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Eastridge took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Spencerport, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Spencerport needed a bit of extra time to put away Churchville-Chili. They skirted past the Saints 6-5. The Rangers haven't had any issues with the Saints recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Eastridge unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of Pittsford by a score of 6-5.

Spencerport pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Eastridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

Spencerport skirted past Eastridge 11-10 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Do the Rangers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lancers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
