La Serna entered their tilt with Estancia on Tuesday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Estancia Eagles 7-5. This was payback for the Lancers, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Logan Thomas looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Max Rodriguez, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. Luther Sullens also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

La Serna now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Estancia, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 5-4.
