It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Vermillion had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They walked away with a 54-44 victory over the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies. The win was familiar territory for the Tanagers, who have now won ten matches in a row.

Vermillion's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.2 points over those games. As for Elk Point-Jefferson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-14.
