It was a proper cat-fight when Monument Valley challenged Pinnacle on Friday. The Cougars put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Monument Valley was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-10.

Dakotah Cly paced Monument Valley's offense, picking up nine kills. Cly got some help from Ayainna Cly and her 14 assists. Enderya Hernandez-Cipriano controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Monument Valley's win bumped their record up to 9-6-1. As for Pinnacle, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Monument Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Green River on the 27th. Hopefully Pinnacle paid attention to the Cougars' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Cougars at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
