Volleyball Recap: Hinckley-Big Rock Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hinckley-Big Rock can now relate to. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Polo Marcos on Tuesday. The Royals' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it seven in a row.

Camrynn Jones was nothing short of spectacular for Polo: she had 11 kills and three digs. Those 11 kills gave Jones a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brylee Laskowski, who had three digs and two aces.

Hinckley-Big Rock's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Polo, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-10-2.

Hinckley-Big Rock does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Polo, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Serena on the 29th.
