Volleyball Recap: Paschal's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

It was a proper cat-fight when Paschal faced off against Godley on Tuesday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wildcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2023.

While Paschal won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-22, 25-21.

Paschal can attribute much of their success to Delilah Andrade, who had 14 assists and six digs. That's the most assists Andrade has posted since back in September of 2024. Georgia Ostransky also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Paschal was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Paschal moved to 2-8 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak. As for Godley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paschal will face off against Trinity at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Godley, they will take on Sunnyvale at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.
