Baseball Recap: John Ehret Takes a Loss

If John Ehret was feeling good fresh off their 16-0 takedown of West Jefferson last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Patriots fell just short of the St. James Wildcats by a score of 5-3 on Monday. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

John Ehret's loss dropped their record down to 8-20. As for St. James, they moved to 15-8 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

John Ehret wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 21-11 defeat against South Plaquemines on the 2nd. As for St. James, they have also already played their next game, a 4-3 loss against Patterson on the 1st.
