It was a proper cat-fight when Montague duked it out with Grant on Thursday. The Wildcats had just enough and edged out the Tigers 15-13. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-10 on Thursday.
Kayden Johnson was incredible, going 3-for-5 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Jocelyn Rodriguez-Perez was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
The win made it two in a row for Montague and bumps their season record up to 3-9. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Grant, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-3.

As for Grant, they will venture away from home to take on Chippewa Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
