Basketball Recap: Rustin's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Rustin came into Saturday's match having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against CSI International Studies by a score of 70-61 on Saturday. For Rustin, this counts as revenge for the 59-46 victory CSI International Studies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Rustin's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-5. As for CSI International Studies, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Rustin will take on Irving at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Rustin is facing Irving at the right time seeing as Irving is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for CSI International Studies, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-55 defeat against Port Richmond on the 6th.
