Basketball Recap: Making Waves Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Making Waves Academy managed to keep up with Elite until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Marlins came up short against the Eagles, falling 66-45. The Marlins were down 53-31 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Elite to victory, but perhaps none more so than AJ Hardaway, who almost dropped a double-double with 20 points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Charles Foreman, who posted seven points along with eight rebounds and six steals.

Making Waves Academy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Elite, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Making Waves Academy will square off against The Bay School on Tuesday. The Marlins are facing the Breakers at the right time seeing as the Breakers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Elite, they will venture away from home to challenge Aspire Langston Hughes Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
