Volleyball Recap: Wednesday's Loss Ends Madison's Winning Streak

After flying high against Morse last Tuesday, Madison came back down to earth. The Warhawks fell 3-1 to the Pacific Ridge Firebirds on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warhawks of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-16, 23-25, 25-19.

With the loss, Madison broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-11. As for Pacific Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-11 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madison will face off against Kearny at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pacific Ridge, they will venture away from home to challenge Helix at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
