Volleyball Recap: Delano Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Delano had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Richfield Spartans on Wednesday. The victory was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Kaelyn Wittwer was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 11 digs and eight aces. Those eight aces gave her a new career-high.

Wittwer wasn't the only good servers: Delano was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Delano's win bumped their record up to 28-2. As for Richfield, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.

Delano has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Jordan on the 24th. Richfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
