Davenport is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Poinciana Christian Preparatory just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Broncos have suffered since April 1st.

Davenport took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-10, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Poinciana can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Liberty.

Poinciana never let Liberty on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-20, 25-23.

Davenport's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Poinciana, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
