Football Game Preview: Unaka vs. Sunbright

Sunbright will square off against Unaka at 7:30 PM on Friday. Sunbright come in off of three low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.

Sunbright have been struggling to pick up a victory, with their game against Lookout Valley last Friday making it three winless games in a row. Sunbright took a serious blow against Lookout Valley, falling 8-49. The state rankings had actually given Sunbright a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.

Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Unaka lost to Hampton, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 14-61. Unaka were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 6-48.

With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
